Penne d'Agenais

A Medieval stronghold with a fluvial port, Penne d’Agenais is located near Villeneuve-sur-Lot in the Pays de Serres . It is surrounded by a number of charming villages in the middle of an idyllic rural landscape.


The village is perched on a hill and looks over the valley of the Lot and the town of Villeneuve. The fortified hilltop is built on a rocky spur and is famous for its architecture, fortified gates, wells and churches… It is classified as one of the most beautiful villages in France.


Montflanquin is one of the most famous and well-preserved ‘bastide’ towns. The village is renowned for its ‘Place des Arcades’ and offers a wide choice of cultural and sporting activities in the heart of a region known for its gastronomy.
